1976 Jim Hogan and W. Bernard Fudge created the Law Offices of Hogan & Fudge, maintaining offices  in both Burkburnett and Wichita Falls.

1977 After serving four (4) years in the United States Air Force JAG Corps, Billy T. Elder joined the Firm, and the firm became the Law Offices of Hogan, Fudge & Elder.

 

1979 Jim Hogan left the Firm to take a position as a Judge at the County Court at Law in Wichita County, Texas.  The Firm changed its name to the Law Offices of Fudge & Elder.

 

2008 Steven J. Bickings joined the Firm.

 

2009 W. Bernard Fudge left the firm to take a position as the 78th District Judge in Wichita County, Texas. 

 

2009 The Firm became Elder, Bickings & Spurgers when Michael R. Spurgers joined the firm.

 

2015 The firm changed its name to the Law Offices of Elder & Bickings when Michael R. Spurgers retired.

 

2016 James R. Suter joined the Firm.

2017 James R. Suter left the Firm to serve as General Counsel for the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth.  Jonathan R. Ellzey joined the firm.

 

Today, the Law Offices of Elder & Bickings is proud of its history and the attorneys that came before them.  Although the Firm has changed names, it continues to hold onto the same core values: maintaining close personal  relationships with its clients, the local community, attorneys, and staff, and most importantly, continuing to provide its clients with the highest degree of professional services.

 

The mission of the  Law Offices of Elder & Bickings is to help individuals and businesses achieve their goals and to solve and prevent problems.  Since 1976, our attorneys have strived to provide legal representation that exceeds the expectations of our clients.
